Our story

About Trader Index

A directory built by a trader, for traders — so you can find the right community without burning months figuring it out the hard way.

Why Trader Index exists

I built Trader Index because I wished something like it had existed when I was getting started. The goal is simple: give traders a single place to browse, compare, and evaluate communities before they dive in — instead of finding out what a community is really like only after joining.

Every community listed here has a profile page that surfaces the things that actually matter: what instruments they focus on, what kind of traders they cater to, what members think, and how the community stacks up compared to alternatives in the same niche.

The directory is community-driven. Real members leave reviews, and scores are calculated from actual upvotes and downvotes — not hand-picked testimonials. That means the signal you see reflects genuine experience, not marketing copy.

Who this is for

New traders

You don't yet know which style of trading fits you. Browse communities by market, strategy, or experience level to find a place where you can learn without feeling lost or overwhelmed.

Intermediate traders looking to level up

You've got the basics down but want to find a community with more depth — better mentors, sharper members, or a focus area that matches your edge.

Experienced traders evaluating options

You know exactly what you want. Use the filters and scores to quickly shortlist candidates and read what members have to say before investing your time.

What's next

Trader Index is still growing. Right now the focus is on futures trading communities, with prop firm coverage coming alongside it. Over time, the plan is to expand into other markets and instruments as the directory matures and more communities get listed.

If you run a trading community and want to get listed, or if you have feedback on how to make the directory more useful, I'd love to hear from you.
